I am Krishnapraba, an Indian actress and professional dancer based in Kerala. My journey in the entertainment industry began with a passion for dance nurtured since childhood, leading me to explore various classical dance forms like Bharatanatyam, Mohiniyattam, and Kuchipudi.

I hail from Ernakulam, Kerala, India, born to Cr Prabhakaran Nair and Sheela Prabhakaran Nair. My childhood was steeped in the rich cultural heritage of Kerala, with a particular focus on classical dance forms such as Bharatanatyam, Mohiniyattam, and Kuchipudi. Under the mentorship of Kalamandalam Sugandhi, I began my formal training in dance at the tender age of three, setting the stage for my lifelong passion for the arts. Educationally, I completed my primary schooling at St. Joseph's School in Kalamassery and pursued Higher Secondary Education in humanities at Sacred Heart College, Thevara. My journey into the world of dance and later into the film industry was influenced significantly by these formative years of learning and exploration.
Embarking on my career journey has been nothing short of a thrilling adventure. In 2008, I made my entry into the film industry with the movie "Madampi," directed by B. Unnikrishnan, marking a significant milestone in my acting career. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of portraying a variety of characters in Malayalam cinema, including memorable roles in films like "Life of Josutty" (2015) directed by Jeethu Joseph. Alongside my film endeavors, I’ve also made notable contributions to the television industry through various serials and shows, showcasing my versatility as an artist. Beyond my on-screen appearances, I am deeply committed to promoting classical dance forms and nurturing young talents. This passion led me to establish the Jainika School of Arts in Kochi, where I continue to inspire and mentor budding artists. My career journey is a testament to my love for the arts and my ongoing pursuit of excellence in storytelling and performance.
